After a hefty two year wait, season three of The Crown finally dropped on Netflix.
But now fans are ravenous for their next instalment of the biographical royal series.
While the release date is hazy (fingers crossed for any time in 2020), this is what we can expect from the show’s fourth season.
Watch the trailer for The Crown season three. Post continues below.
When is the release date?
Unlike the two-year gap between season two and three – thanks to a complete cast overhaul – seasons three and four are being filmed back to back, with filming currently in progress.
If we’re lucky, fans might even be able to expect new episodes in 2020. Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Josh O’Connor (Prince Charles) shared the news.
“We’re well into it now. We’ve got many months left, they’ve got a few episodes in, so it’s really exciting. And I think it will be the best yet, actually,” he said.
“I’m really looking forward to finishing that and then getting to share it sometime in 2020, I guess.”
